We (humans and Oreo) love the view from our living room, and it’s wonderful to have the sun streaming in while we have breakfast by the windows, with Oreo sunbathing or birdwatching. 
This was before we had solar film installed. It was so glaring every morning and we were worried about harmful UV exposure for both humans can cat. 
We chose the middle option as we didn’t want our windows to be too dark.
