Did we regret buying over our recess area? ðŸ¤ðŸ«

We bought over our recess area! Okay technically the previous owners bought over the area, but we are also currently paying for it now 😆 This recess area was one reason why we decided to get this house during viewing. Not sure how much it costs, but according to google, it will probably cost about $7k+ 
One main reason why I think it was worth paying for the recess area is because of the additional privacy it gives. Delivery drivers aren’t able to look directly into the house because of how the recess area is angled away from the living room! You can barely see the main door when you’re in the living room! 
One downside is….. because the recess area is at a sharp angle, furniture that are too big can’t go into the house 🥹 The fridge delivery man had to remove the side door for me to fit the fridge in. Thank you for your kind service uncles 😆 We had to build our shoe cabinets last too just in case larger items such as beds and tables could not enter the house! Our contractor predicted that this would happen and advised us to build our shoe cabinet last. Having a good contractor like ours is really important!! Overall I would still recommend buying over your recess area! Feels like a little separate place from home and no more ugly shoe cabinets in sight!
