Hey there! 👋🏻 Welcome back to our humble home. We're so happy to have you over, today we're giving you a tour of our bedroom. Fun fact: We have no built in carpentry in our bedrooms! Everything here is loose furniture and we may even consider changing up the layout in the future 🤫 
Here we have our bed frame, which was thrifted from carousell and it came from Picket & Rail. We simply gave it a new coat of paint and it looks brand new! We then paired it with our thrifted bedside tables (also from carousell!) which matched almost perfectly and fits beautifully in this space. 
Lucky! You got to catch the last of the sunset streaming through our curtains. Did we mention we installed the curtains ourselves? It saved us a ton on our renovation, we opted for day and night curtains so we can have the flexibility to change up the amount of light coming in. 
I see you've noticed our wardrobe is open? Yes that's right, we love that we can utilise all our clothes so it won't accumulate dust. Helps us not hoard or overbuy and when we do, we know it's time for a declutter! Our IKEA jute boxes also help keep the mess at bay, and fit perfectly into our open shelves. On the side we have a tall chest of drawers in a matching pine wood to help add more storage and also serve as an extra table to get ready. Coupled with our IKEA mirror (also in the same shade of wood!), this corner comes together cohesively and is easily moveable in the future since it's not built in 😊 
In the evening, our trusty lamp serves as a night light. We placed in a smart light bulb that helps control the temperature and brightness so it keeps things dim during the night till we're ready to drift off to sleep. Occasionally we also use our electric diffusor for some aroma therapy and love the subtle light it gives, it really ties in with our standing lamp to create a warm, cosy ambiance.
