One of our favourite carpentry decisions is our walk-in wardrobe that comes with a door, which we managed to build without sacrificing a bedroom :) We have been receiving many questions about how our bedroom layout looks like with this walk-in wardrobe, so this post will talk all about that! ✨ We will take you through our bedroom layout, starting from our bedroom entrance. Upon entering our bedroom, our bathroom is situated on the right side ➡️ As you continue walking in, you’ll arrive at the main star of this post — the concealed walk-in wardrobe! 🌟 We wanted the wardrobe to blend in with the rest of the room. Many of our guests had mistakenly thought that the wardrobe was just another wall, while some others knew it was a wardrobe but couldn’t figure out how to open it at first sight so I guess we somewhat managed to make it look inconspicuous 🤭 P.S. Installing a door was a must for us to keep dust out! 🙌🏻 As mentioned in our bedroom post, the idea of a walk-in wardrobe came about because of feng shui reasons. Little did we know that we would reap many more benefits from choosing this wardrobe layout! Benefits: 1) No need to pull down bedroom blinds when changing 2) When 1 person is getting ready while the other is still asleep, the latter will not have their sleep disturbed by lights 3) Able to see/access all our clothes at once — makes dressing up & keeping laundry a lot more efficient + easily keep track of how much we own Our bed is Queen-sized and we also managed to cater sufficient space for a bedside table on each side 💤 Our bedside table measures 50cm in width. There’s still some wiggle space on each side of the tables, which means we have more than enough space to walk through each aisle + change bedsheets comfortably :) Finally, here’s our floor plan for a clearer view of our bedroom layout! 🙌🏻
