We kept the corridor through to our rooms and the common bathroom simple to continue with the clean theme and not distract away from the woods and black door with reeded glass. We change the rug up every once in a while though to liven up the mood in this space! Now back to the bathroom. We kept 3 of the 4 walls intact with HDB's default white wall tiles, while decking out half the main wall with vertically placed mustard subway tiles which had beautiful subtle colour variations. The bottom half and floor were done in the same stone tiles with light grain textures to give that look of continuity and blend in with the other white walls. We've also got black accented fittings around the bathroom to add a modern touch to it. This is the first piece that we bought for our bathroom and definitely something that we wanted to incorporate somewhere in our house. Neatly done terrazzo basin matching perfectly with the stone, clay, wood and matte black fittings.
