Welcome to our dining room! Due to our conflicting work schedules (the husband works till late and I am on office hours), our dining room is the most under-utilised space in our house as of now, with it only being able to feel the warmth of human touch (lol) when we host friends over for dinner, or when I need it as a work desk. There are 2 main highlights of our dining table - one of it being the curved legs! This was a design that we chanced upon online by an Italian designer, and the price tag was a hefty $6000! We happen to have a friendly who is a carpenter and we gave the challenge of replicating the design with a touch of our own detail. IT HAS DRAWERS! This was a feature we saw at a restaurant we dined at, where they had a full suite of cutleries for guests to choose from. For context, the husband is a chef, and he got duper excited and said that this was a must have for our dining table haha. It also doubles as a lego storing space when the wife (me) builds nanoblocks! Said cutlery setup. The dining chair is my proud purchase! I love the rattan detail on the backing and the entire look of it. The table also doubles as where I work from. But it gets distracting because……
