A hot and cold water dispenser is indispensable since we started using one more than 10 years ago. It’s simply too convenient and hygienic for young and old in the family. From warm water for milk powder to cool water for adults in our sunny weather. Our old dispenser’s annual filter cost us $300+ but Happie, a local brand win hands down. We were given 6 years of free filters with our purchase of the machine which cost <$2K. And we love our Happie Joy machine so much! It dispensers Hot, Warm, Cold water at different amounts or continuous flow. The filter is much easier to change from the front. That’s not enough, the free filters are just a call away to arrange for their technician to come and replace for you! No worry of filter expiry or how to replace on your own. For our new kitchen, we switch to a bottom freezer fridge this time. Good bye to backaches bending down every time we grab something from the fridge. To save tabletop space, we chose a Brandt built in microwave alongside with our hood and hob from the same brand after learning that the models we chose are Made In France.👍🏻 
Won this Nespresso Mini Essenza ☕️machine in a lucky draw 🍀 and decided to try making our own coffee at home! It’s fun and save money 💰buying coffee at the cafe! Glad to know that Original capsules used for this machine model can be easily bought from other brands like Starbucks, Lavazza, L’OR apart from Nespresso. This means the variety of flavors are much more❤️ 
Chose this compact induction hob as it’s Made In France and we knew we only need 2 or 3 burners. The slim line hood also has high power which is important for an enclosed kitchen. 
Was looking for a combo appliance to replace our oven and air fryer when we saw the demo of this Singapore brand, Kith Grillmaster. It can Air Fry, Toast and Grill! What sold us was the ease of washing and cleaning with its cover fully removable. Do check this out if you are in the market for a multi use appliance! 
Concealed power point and plugs are recommended for aesthetic purpose. Will lose some storage space to make way for this but it’s definitely worth it and practical. Do remember to tell your contractor to build this in mind.👍🏻 
This tap faucet attachment was gifted by our contractor who raves about it. He has ordered in bulk and gifts each of his customer as it’s really so useful! Managed to find it on Shopee and it’s really affordable. Check it out in the tagged link before it’s sold out again!⬆️ 
With a rubbish chute in our kitchen, we find it more convenient and hygienic to throw small trash bags a few times a day than accumulate in our large Brabantia step bin. Hence, we gave it away and got this small hanging bin which we love so much! Small or large bin will depend on your habit and if you have a rubbish chute at a convenient location within reach. 
At our dry pantry island, we built a shallow drawer in a drawer. The main drawer holds our mugs and the drawer inside holds our cutlery, reusable straws, can opener etc. This is very useful and highly recommended if you are building the kitchen carpentry from scratch. 
We placed our rice cooker on a pull out drawer- an idea we learnt from reno inspirations online. It’s neat and saves table top space. 
Instead of spending on a Blum pull out unit for our bottled sauces and canned food, our contractor did this pull out drawer with carpentry that dos the same job at no extra carpentry cost.👍🏻
