Our home is FILLED with lots of Shopee finds. In this compiled list, youโll see some of the more note-worthy ones! What led us to finding dupes is simply due to budget constraints. To us, we donโt mind if itโs a knock-off so long as it saves us a couple of bucks and does the job! ๐ฐ (Retailers might not be too happy with us on this one ๐) 
Starting with our biggest purchase yet, our sofa. Context: Weโve been searching for a modular sofa that could convert into more seating arrangements to accommodate guests. Thatโs when we came across the Teddy sofa from Omhu โ however, the starting price for the smallest size (which was 200 CM, ours is 150 CM), was a whopping 1645 EUR (excluding shipping)! ๐ต We tried searching on other websites but found that it was still too pricey for the 150 CM version (as seen in pic). So Syaf came up with the idea to image search the sofa on Shopee just for funsies; not hoping that sheโs actually gonna come across a dupe. Lo and behold, there it was! The verdict? Quality: 10/10 Upon assembly, it looked amazing (for said price)! A year later, it still looks as good as new โ with the exception of some wrinkling in the fabric; since itโs corduroy, itโs not too obvious. Firmness: 8/10 If youโre looking for a soft, comfy sofa, this isnโt for you. Itโs pretty firm. Recommend?: 7/10 โ๏ธ Too small - We got the love seat which was meant for 2 pax, but even when weโre both seated on the couch, it feels squeazy because the back/arm rest takes up most of the space. โ Maintenance - Cleaning wise, I would recommend using a vacuum/steam cleaner instead of taking out the cover and dumping it into the washing machine; only โcause itโs a HUGE struggle to put it back in. All in all, itโs a solid couch for the mid-century modern/eclectic aesthetics! 
Up next we have the TOGO/caterpillar sofa. Quality: 8/10 Threading came loose and the foam is starting to lose its shape after a year. Firmness: 5/10 Itโs reallyyyyy comfy. Most people donโt wanna get up once theyโve sat down. Recommend?: 10/10 Itโs affordable, comfy and looks like a piece of art! What more could we ask for? 
Moving on to our dining chairs. Upon seeing the Moustache collection, we KNEW we had to get them for our dining room, and in different colours no less! Quality: 10/10 Looks legit! Sturdiness: 9/10 A little wobbly. Recommend?: 10/10 
Literally 90% off? ๐ฑ Quality: 9/10 Came with some scratches. Sturdiness: 7/10 Itโs lopsided but steady when weight is added! Recommend?: 9/10 Have been told it feels weird having a hole in the centre. 
We love that they all come in different shapes but looks cohesive still! Quality: 10/10 Sturdiness: 10/10 Recommend?: 10/10 
Syaf kinda regrets getting this in white because she uses it as her vanity stool ๐ Quality: 10/10 Sturdiness: 9/10 Shakes a little every now and then. Recommend: 10/10 
The famous ring-a-date calendar! So happy we got this at a steal! Quality: 10/10 Recommend?: 10/10 
Last but not least, this banana vase! Not exactly the same as it doesnโt include the โblue stickerโ, and the lines are a lot finer โ but at first glance, it looks like the real thing! Quality: 9/10 Recommend?: 10/10 
In summary: If thereโs an item that you really love but think itโs way beyond your budget, do an image search on Shopee/Taobao/Lazada before committing to the purchase! Chances are, you might actually find a dupe at a fraction of the price!
