🏡 Welcome to my #TinyHome.
People say your home is a reflection of who you are inside. Here’s an intimate sharing of some of my favourite parts in a space I put together myself with a little creativity. I hope it will inspire you to create yours!
🙋🏻♀️ Hi, I’m Kris. I’m a hopeless romantic and a hopeful dreamer.
🍁 My sidekicks’ favourite hiding spot is amongst the autumn leaves in my bathroom. It is inspired by my first autumn in Europe. The autumn leaves not only hide the unsightly pipes without making my tiny toilet more claustrophobic, it makes the little space more lively!
🏰 The bathroom was inspired by my trip to Neuswanstein Castle many autumns ago. The Bavarian castle designed by “Mad” King Ludwig II inspired the Disney Castle that is a symbol of dreams come true.
✈️ Many dream of travelling the world and I’m blessed to have done some in my lifetime. Here’s my little trophy corner where I host my Travelholic and Alcoholic Anonymous gatherings.
👩🏻🍳 Cooking is my therapy. And this is half of my 7sqm kitchen. The Ninja Foodi 11-in-1 Multicooker is a lifesaver on my lazy days. It saves me a lot of time and trouble.
🐟 I like to build self-sustainable ecosystems. This is one of my attempts with solar powered black light and neon-coloured fishes and stones. This didn’t last long as the lights were not as waterproofed as they claimed. I will re-attempt with another set of lights that I’ve been using and has been proven sturdy so far.
🍀 I’m obsessed with aurora and i decided to bring it home. I’ve been lucky to have seen it over 20 times so far! I tried a couple of devices and found this to have the best effects.
🌌 Other than aurora, I like galaxies too! As limitless as the universe, a tiny room of 4.8sqm can be full of magic with creative space planning. I love how this IKEA day bed provide storage and is just the right height for my window table.
🌸 Many ask what’s my design theme. I think it is Whimsical Utilitarian. But I think, deeper inside, I design with my life philosophy, a mixture of Hygge, Wabi Sabi, and Krispholophy.
