This week, let’s step behind the scenes—literally—into our study area. Remember when we tore down that wall in the living room to open up the space? Well, our study is hidden just behind the see-through bookshelf, creating a perfect little nook for those rare work-from-home days. It’s an extension of the living space, blending seamlessly into the open layout while maintaining a cozy and functional vibe. 
One standout piece in the study is the Vitra Standard Desk with striking blue legs. Its sleek and modern design perfectly complements the rest of the room. The blue legs add just the right pop of color, giving the space a playful yet refined touch. It’s the ideal desk for keeping things neat and organized without feeling too office-like. 
We don’t work from home often, so we wanted this space to be more about aesthetics than a full-on office setup. It’s clutter-free and visually appealing, but still fully functional for the occasional workday or quick task. Everything has its place, making it feel calm and minimal—exactly the kind of space where you’d want to sit down and get things done. 
To keep the space feeling fresh and inviting, we’ve added a touch of greenery. The pops of green bring life and warmth to the study, balancing out the minimalist design with a hint of nature. 
One thing we definitely didn’t want was the typical office chair. Instead, we chose the Tacchini Dialogo chair, a classic design that offers both style and support. Not only does it look great, but it also provides excellent back support for those times when we do need to sit and focus for a bit.
