In the end, we were happy we stuck to our decision to get a stronger aircon unit as it efficiently cools the entire area.

We decided to save time by keeping the existing bottom carpentry since it was done up about 5 years ago. We were also glad they had a concrete base near the sink so we gladly inherited it.

We changed out the doors, added top hung cupboards, changed the countertop.

Another plus point is that it came with a comfortable sized service yard, which can cater for our family’s laundry needs and also a corner for our dry pantry items.

We also kept the light grey kitchen tiles in the rest of the kitchen, but overlaid with glass backing for a seamless look. Hope you enjoyed reading the brief overview and stay tuned for more posts!
