Welcome to my restful retreat! It's a place where I seek rest and find my restart again. I decided to leave my bedroom looking and having minimal. Many ID suggested to have built in bed, extended carpentry to the bed from wardrobe etc. But, those aren't my ideal restful retreat. Fell in love with the HUGE space in the master and I love spacious areas! Guess you can tell how much I love the natural light as well! This is the final outlook of the master bedroom!

While choosing my curtains, I chanced upon this company recommended by another homeowner. I did follow this company long time ago but kind of forgot about it. Jason, the owner of Coesa, helped me with the choices, selection and decision making. All was done based on the theme of the home, living habits and also functionality. I'm so glad that the curtains add that extra notch to bring out the character of the home.

Left a little small pocket to place the bedside table beside the bed. Good to place items that we use at night or even to place our phones. It can also be a space to display our nick nacks which I generally don't have. The distance of the switch should be measured against the height of your bedside table. So it's good to have an idea how tall and wide your bedside table should be before the placement of switches!

No storage bed for me! I never want to sleep not knowing what is below me. Not the bedtime monsters but the icky insects and dustballs that will share the same space as me. Having an elevated bed also allow airflow below.
