This is Part 3 of our Renovation Checklist series (check out our Kitchen Edition if you haven’t already!) ✨
When planning for your master bedroom, remember that everyone’s needs are different, use this as a guide and tailor it to your daily lifestyle. Above all, keep things practical and don’t overkill!
Some examples to illustrate:
• If your partner has to head out early for work (say, 6am) while you sleep in a little longer (around 8am), cupboard lighting can be a lifesaver as it helps him find clothes quickly without waking you up💡
• Let’s say your wife installed a display cabinet for her branded bags but found she rarely used the lights and preferred keeping her bags covered for protection. This could have been a costly regret, as the space could have been better utilized for other storage 👝
• One couple underestimated bedside space, leaving the partner near the window with barely any room to move especially when getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.
• If you both enjoy lounging in bed but forgot to add power outlets nearby, it could become frustrating when you need to charge your phone but the outlet is out of reach.
✨ Tip: Plan your space with your habits and preferences in mind to ensure it truly works for your daily routine 😊
