We try to keep our bedroom quiet and natural - perfect for a good night's sleep - with no digital distractions (no TV, no bedside table for phones). Our stone-lookalike wallpaper from Hello Circus was the highlight of the room. Everyone thought it was textured until they touched it. Installing the wallpaper took less than an hour, and it was easy. Initially, we wanted a hydraulic bedframe, but a friend advised us it would become redundant and recommended a side drawer bedframe. Best advice till far! There were four drawers in which we kept our bedsheets, towels, and winter clothing. We chose Simmon mattresses (backcare 5 series) because of their longevity. The material is harder than the luxurious ones, but it can last us until our 50s! A harder bed is better for a strong back! Side sleepers should still opt for a softer mattress. Additionally, we invested in a good pillow to protect our necks. A good night's sleep also means a more productive day! For lighting, we had a ceiling fan with adjustable light that comes in three colors. It's highly recommended to check out Ya Fen (one of Singapore's cheapest lighting shops). Our bedside lamps were purchased from Tao Bao at a fraction of the cost of most lighting shops in Singapore. Our only regret is the blinds in the bedroom. Instead of Venetian blinds, I would have chosen something that can block out the light.
