When we decided to go for a cooler tone in our master bathroom, one thing was clear in my mind β the fittings had to be gunmetal. π Not only does it look sleek and modern, but itβs also way more forgiving with water stains β perfect for someone with mild OCD like meβ¦ I still remember doing research and checking out a few local stores in Singapore, only to realise how pricey bathroom hardware is here. π A single towel rack could easily cost 3β5x more than similar options online. So apart from the faucet and shower (which are from local brand Rigel), all our other fittings were bought from Taobao! π Honestly, the quality is just as good as what I saw in stores. If youβre not in a rush, Taobao is definitely worth considering. Just be sure to go for reputable sellers and slightly higher-end options, since these are not items youβll replace often. π€π» So hereβs a quick rundown of the fittings we picked β each one has been tested with over a year of daily use, and Iβm happy to say everything still looks and works great.ππ»

Donβt underestimate these hooks β theyβve become some of the most used items in our bathroom! We use them daily to hang clothes or sometimes for towels, especially when weβre showering or getting ready. Compared to just relying on the towel rack, having these extra hooks really makes the space more functional. Still super sturdy, and the gunmetal finish looks just as sleek as day one.π€
