When we were choosing the right shower set, there were a few key things we learned along the way.
We did quite a bit of research while comparing different types of shower sets, but honestly, we were really puzzled by the huge price differences between American brands and other options on the market.
That’s when we started digging deeper.
One BIG takeaway: material matters.
Brass is considered the highest tier! It doesn’t rust and is very durable, but it’s also on the expensive side.
There is a popular brand like Rigel that makes brass shower sets, but the price is pretty steep.
Stainless steel comes in as the second tier. It’s still durable, corrosion-resistant, and much more affordable.
In the end, we went with a Tora brand which is from a company called Big Bath from Malaysia.
What really helped was that they have a showroom where we could actually see and feel the water flow. The water came out really fine and consistent, the material is made of brass, and the price felt reasonable compared to SG.
Overall, it felt like the best balance between quality and cost for us.
