This post is all about lights in our home! To start off, we would like to share that we engaged an electrician ourselves instead of using our ID’s electrician.
Why? That’s because the electrician did the electrical works for my parents’ place and they highly recommended him for his honest prices and excellent workmanship.
We are really thankful for the electrician. He recommended us the lightings to use, and even gave us advice on certain aspects of the reno.
Our electrician also helped us save costs. We couldn’t decide what light to use for the master bedroom. He suggested moving the service yard light (from previous owner) and we thought why not.
It was initially in a black casing and the electrician even help us to spray it white!
For the downlights in our living room, our ID suggested having 6x twin downlights. But the electrician told us it was overkill and said that 6x single downlights are sufficient. Of course we went with the electrician’s advice and it was indeed bright enough.
The only area where we have white light is the home office cos the husband wants it to be extremely bright.
All of the lights were chosen and recommended by our electrician. We are very satisfied with his selections and it blends in well with our home!
