Welcome to another episode of how we spend our money 🤣 We started our home journey thinking we wanted to be cool minimalist people, but along the way… we met many temptations in the form of random home decor so we’ve stopped being minimalist and just embraced the chaos and inner children that lie within us . If anyone wants to join us in spending money on random home decor items, here’re some of the more interesting item we have! 
We’re starting with this one - a moai tissue holder that also doubles up as a cap holder, headphones holder, spectacles holder… We didn’t actually need any of these holders tbh - Duck found him on Taobao and couldn’t stop laughing at him so we bought him. We can’t find small enough tissues to fit into the middle part (the regular FairPrice tissue boxes are too big) so we’ve stuffed a toilet roll inside for the time being 🙂 
Next up, this friendly bear with a tray that holds other items 🐻 we use it at our entryway to keep all the small misc things we have, like keys, AirPods, lip gloss, etc but you could also use him literally anywhere actually - in the bedroom for combs/hairties, in the living room for remote controls, or even in your toilet for small random items like floss! (We don’t recommend the toilet idea though, feels like the tray might rust if the area is humid) 
We actually DIY-ed this super beautiful tray during a recent trip to KL, and designed the whole setup ourselves! It’s now a very fancy remote control holder that reminds us of how Duck wanted an ocean themed home that have since been… polluted by the non-aquatic bear and Moai man you saw above 🙊 (The DIY process is very fun though! Leave a comment or DM us on our socials if you need the details ) 
duck loves the idea of hippers! but we don’t really like how they make our phones feel more heavy and clunky so we’ve been finding new places to stick them. This one is Buddha on Duck’s computer screen that acts as a reminder to reduce her screen time and be productive because Buddha is watching 👀 We’re looking to get into smiski hippers next - wish us luck 😬 
And yes it’s another tissue holder - I don’t think we have any normal tissue holders in our house 🤣 this one is a sturdy good quality whale made from silicon (The tissue coming out is supposed to look like the whale blowing water 😛 in case you haven’t realised) Super easy to clean, super easy to refill BUT the only drawback is that the tissue gets harder to reach once we reach the end of a pack :( it doesn’t have the spring mechanism to help keep the tissues at the top unfortunately :( And that’s all for our quirky and weird home decor items!
