A Vanity dream come true (self-designed)!

Welcome to our (my) vanity area! I’ve always wanted a full vanity and so it was a dream come true when I was able to design this to be fit for purpose and to have our contractor build it. 😍 
The main vanity is attached to a chest of drawers where I store my frequently used clothes like active wear and loungewear on left, with spare make up and other essentials on the right. It is also attached to a drawer where I store my oft-used bags. 
The entry to the vanity, master bathroom and walk-in wardrobe are hidden behind a pocket door, accessible from the bedroom. We find that this set up works in case either of us get up early or come back late, in which case our puttering about won’t wake the other person! 
I’ve found that backlit mirrors are always very practical for make-up and skincare without having to turn on the main light. That’s all for my vanity, hope you enjoyed reading!
