Ours is a 4-rm BTO, with OCS included which doesn’t come with the option to opt out. The total reno cost (including electrical & Aircons) was around $44k. The primary objective during reno was to keep it simple yet somewhat aesthetically pleasing, and we spent more efforts on furniture & decor sourcing to style the house rather than focusing all on renovation and built-ins. Considering we’re not huge fans of minimalist living (nor are we able to haha), we did things differently from the usual reno and design styles. The bulk of our furniture are from Taobao, while larger items such as sofa and bed are purchased from JB.
