Ahh the dining space guys. A little back story, I have always wanted a kitchen island (if possible). But since it was impossible due to the layout of my house and also the space that it will take, I know at the back of my mind I will have to replace that idea and instead I went for a bigger dining table. The reason behind wanting a bigger dining table is because I want to have my family or friends to be able to seat together, enjoy meals together and also it would be nice to act as a work space too. The area around my dining space is bare and simple and I love it because it fits nicely with the theme. I have my dining table customized. It is 1.8m long and able to fit up to 6 - 8 people. I purposely chose a dining table with a curve edge because not only I love the shape 😆 but I love the idea I can fit more people. Since I wanted a minimalist/lux theme, I decided to go for a marble like dining table. But this is actually sintered stone material. Sintered stone is very durable and also heavy . It is also scratch resistance, heat resistance. So I feel it is perfect for a dining table. I love how my dining table has a fluted wooden legs. And instead of a matte finishing table, it is actually glossy. Not only this dining table plays with different materials but it is also acts as a statement piece for the house. If you realised, I do not have a dining pendant lights hanging over my dining space. That is because I love the idea that I’m able to shift my dining table around. So instead of having pendant lights, I went for downlights! Downlights are great because it makes the house feels spacious and it does give you the lux vibes. My downlights comes in 3 different light settings so it can definitely change the vibes around the dining space! Dining area at night with lights on ☺️
