Being the Hari Raya period, our coffee table (it’s a set of 3 nesting tables!) will - for the next month - house a tray of home baked cookies and treats for guests! 
We recently did a mini makeover for certain spaces in our home - the living room being one of them. After a year, we decided to swap out dark blue tones for a lighter taupe / greige palette instead. 
We prefer sleek looks, and would do away with unnecessary furniture if possible, so we opted to do without a console for our tv and instead had it wall-mounted, along with a soundbar. 
Our toddler spends most of his awake time in the living room, so it’s no surprise that a stash of his toys are here too. But they’re sneakily hidden away in this gorgeous rattan toy chest, and the woven tassel basket by the side. 
For a two year old, he sure does have lots of books - here is his current book rotation, displayed neatly in this pretty magazine holder for easy access.
