Bathroom is a place to seek for everyday comfort. Elevating bathroom experience is essential!
I’ve been more experimental with my previous home, knowing that I wasn’t gonna stay there for long. In this home, as we are certain we’re gonna stay here for the long game, we sent for a timeless look.
Here are 8 ways to elevate your bathroom experience:
1) Single & large tile format
Using single & large format tile across all walls and floor to make it look spacious and elegant, seamless throughout the bathroom. I chose a neutral colour to make the bathroom brighter!
2) Sintered stone integrated sink
Having an integrated sink creates the seamless look, again elevating the space! There’s a gentle slope down the sink that gives off spa vibes and it’s actually very functional for families with kids as you can easily clean them off whenever they have poonami!
3) Hot & cold tap
We wanted a different look and separating the hot and cold temperature gives off hotel vibes
4) Hidden storage
Having lots of storage hidden behind the mirror is a classic yet smart strategy because you don’t have to make multiple trips to stock up your toilet rolls and whatnots!
5) Wall-hung toilet bowl
Depending on your bathroom layout and space, having the option for wall-hung toilet bowl gives off a different feel! We also chose rim toilet bowl as they have higher power flush.
6) Pleasant Scent
Other than being visually appealing, having a pleasant scent is crucial in elevating your space! Also, it helps your guests to be less awkward if they are doing business no 2 🤭
7) Toilet roll access
While the cabinet behind the mirror stores our toilet rolls, but this is life changing as you don’t have to stand up to get your toilet roll if you’re doing business halfway. Again, it helps to reduce the awkwardness for your guests asking you for toilet roll!
8) Overhead shower
My husband’s ultimate obsession! I thought he’s only gonna use it once or twice but surprisingly he used this on a daily basis as it’s super comfortable! I do enjoy rainshower on hairwash days too 💙
