4 unconventional ways to use your label printer š

We love our label printers! So much that we have two of them :) Having these have really been a game changer for us since we moved in! We know people use them to label expiry dates on food and label their kidās school stuff but thereās so much more you can do with labels š hereās our take: 
1. Labelling our switches and remotes Some friends say that this makes our house look like a kindergarten LOL but itās useful especially when you have these four gang switches - cos I can never remember which switch corresponds to which light š¤£ The label printerās app comes with icons as well so we can make our stickers more fun too 
2. Labelling our cables Yes - we can identify the cables but itās just so much easier this way to pull out the right cable without having to scrutinise them š„² (You can also do this for the rest of your cables, even those that are packed away! Just print the label so the words are on HALF of the sticker and fold the sticker in half to create these cable stickers!) And yes our cables are old and dirty - weāre not proud of them š« 
3. Appliance reminders! To be honestā¦ we can never remember when to change our air purifier filters and run the cleaning cycle for our dishwasher and whatever š¤£ So hereās a helpful way to remind us when we have to change out the filters and do all the regular maintenance stuff! The stickers are NOT fully waterproof but they generally last quite a while on our appliances as long as weāre not splashing water or forcefully rubbing out the words 
4. Workout memos If youāre still referring to your phone to find out what exercises you need for your daily workoutā¦ then be like us and just stick them onto your weights š¤£ This has been really helpful for building a standard set of exercises for a quick super fast workout - we donāt have to refer to our phones or any other memos anymore! But definitely not for hardcore gym people with a detailed routine š¤£ weāre the kind of people who do like 10 mins of exercise with this weight and call it a day :) 
These are the two label printers we use! Both are from Niimbot and use the same app - the pink one has lasted us >5 years! Pros: - connectivity is pretty easy and the app has lots of customisation features to make nice labels :) - They also have quite a few different types of labels (patterned backgrounds, transparent ones, etc) - the label stickers are quite good quality (imo!) and they donāt leave residue when you remove them Cons - the labels tend to get stuck if you donāt use the printer regularly, so you will āwasteā one sticker when you start printing. - the ink fades eventually if you keep touching the stickers (eg. We swap out the ones on our light switches annually because theyāre the most ātouchedā and will fade away) Let us know if you have any other label printer hacks!
