Setting up our home as a DINK household means prioritising convenience, security, and a little bit of comfort in the everyday details. Here are the door essentials we considered non-negotiable: 
1. Digital Door Lock Since we don’t WFH often, having a digital lock saves us from the hassle of carrying or forgetting keys. No more coordinating with each other just to get into the house, and no more fumbling at the door. 👍🏼 
2. Door Seal A small detail that makes a big difference. The door seal helps keep out dust, smells, and unwanted “intruders” from the outside, making our home feel cleaner and more comfortable. 🐜🦎🪳

3. Door Closer and Slide Arm A simple yet practical addition to your door. It ensures smooth and quiet closing every time. With adjustable tension and latch speeds, you can fine-tune the settings to suit your preferences. 
4. Smart Doorbell with Camera Privacy and security are important to us. With a camera-enabled doorbell, we’re able to see who’s at the door anytime, on our phones. It adds an extra layer of peace of mind, 24/7. 
A “Want”, Not a Need: Door Wrap 🎨 Door wrapping is something we’re considering purely for aesthetics. It helps elevate the overall look of the entrance and ties the home design together visually. The only challenge? Deciding on the colour. We’re currently torn between a dark walnut brown to match our skirting and room doors, or a cream/white limewash-style wrap for a softer, more neutral look 🤍 Still thinking about what would suit our home best! (Also thinking about lime washing our entire living room/ use wallpaper?? 🙊 … The Mrs is extremely fickle minded and takes very very long to decide so.., we’ll see!)
