Sharing 3 items we regretted buying. 1. Gate with many horizontal surface The gate looks nice but the horizontal surfaces collect dust and requires cleaning every now and then. 
This is what I mean by horizontal surface. Each of these gets really dusty and needs to be cleaned one by one. 
2. Tap that is too short We bought the tap without measuring. It ended up being too short and your hands will touch the sink. Results in the vanity top being wet easily too. 
3. Fan with light With down lights in our living room, we have never turned on the fan’s light. We should have gotten a ceiling fan without light instead.
