3 Benefits Of A Zero Built-In Living Room | Tampines

Hellloooo from the Chans again! Not sure if you remember we have a zero built-in living room but because of this, we’ve switched up our layout and it’s even more spacious now! We love the new amount of walking space and definitely the happiest person is our 7-year-old because she gets so much more playing area. Having a zero built-in living room allows for maximised space especially for those with young children. Less furniture, more playing space!

No built-ins means flexibility for customisation too. We repurposed our huge coffee table into a board games/slacking table in the gaming room; shifted our dining table right to the other end beside the windows. This gave our dining space enhanced natural lighting and good view while eating. Without the coffee table, we are all discouraged from watching while eating because there’s no direct line of sight from the table to TV. YAY!!
Look at the amount of leg space! Hehe Also our plant gets to be more decorative than ever. Sorry for the poster because we’re sun-drying it at this corner 😂
We didn’t change our TV console since we got it but from our last post, it’s an upgrade! 😬 we shifted the TV console towards the left to accommodate the shift in furniture positioning. Having no built-ins allowed for easier change and update of furnitures! 💕💕
