Finally a background of our SBF journey! I feel like we have speed thru the process with a lot of good luck! Probably too much luck used up until now end of 2025, we felt like we learnt an expensive lesson :( Share again next time… But we were excited for the new home! Let’s go thru the timeline 
We got our HFE ready from the past BTO tries so we waited for this SBF to try one more time. We tried two BTO, first at teban breeze, where our number is out of Q, by the time I go down, I am only left with a few units on level 2&3 facing carpark. So we gave up and were given a waiver of chance. Next we tried bukit batok BTO, our number is waaay behind, so don’t even need to think for that. Alas we tried the SBF launch after and we got a two digit q number!!!! Even tho our aim to look at the SBF BTO, but when our turn came, those units we snatched up. So we went with our 6 or 7 choice. And you have guessed it, it’s our 8 years old home ☺️ Applied on the 16 feb 25, result in 5 jul 25. 5months 
Choose our unit on 8 Jul 25, was told to wait a few months. But could write in to expedite the key collection since house is ready and emptied. After selection, we were given the branch manager number to arrange viewing of the house, but by then we already confirm so cannot change our choice also haha or can only give up the unit and first timer chance. I also wrote in to ask about how long can we have the date for collection IF we were to expedite, cause we were thinking to have the ROM done in the house. But officer misread or cannot be so detailed(?) he expedite for us straight after the email. And everything came in a rush from there! 31 Jul 25 morning, just 24 days after selecting! We found ourselves at HDB again making our first big purchase and gotten our new title as home owners!
