So after securing our unit, we had a hard time deciding on a theme or even a mood board. But, what we did first was to buy things that we wanted that will not affect such as a neutral frame bed and mattress for ourselves and the kids.
Three months prior, we also got all our electrical appliances too thinking that it will be easier for our ID to have the exact measurements and for the renders to be as accurate as possible. So, to us the renders were the deciding factor to determine our choice of materials and finishes.
Bottom line, we’ve learnt not to be too fixated on a theme like initially we wanted colonial then we realise we don’t really want to delve in too deep by still keeping modern minimalistic but functional layout and options. So, here are some initial renders to help us get started. Another thing is these renders will change along the way so drafts after drafts.. trust the process!
