Welcome to our home! We moved into this 3-bedroom unit slightly over a year ago. It’s approximately 1260sqft. 
The kitchen was originally very small - it actually was just contained behind the white wall. When we bought the place, we felt that the tiny kitchen was not usable (as I cook and bake almost daily) so we removed the door that enclosed the kitchen, and extended it out with a 2.2m long countertop in a beautiful fluted paneling design in dark walnut. 
I wanted a sleek, modern design for the kitchen so we went with a Kompacplus countertop + backsplash in a dark slate grey tone to complement the dark walnut cabinets. 
Because it’s a small space, I didn’t want to overwhelm it with too many cabinets. We chose to do floating wall shelves instead in this nook. 
The selling point of this house was its massive balcony. To say that we were pleasantly surprised to see the size of this patio would be an understatement! We already had a 3m long live edge dining table (I.e. the dining table of my dreams) in our previous HDB home, so it was crucial that our next home have ample space to place this large piece… and this was perfect! 
It’s a ground floor unit that overlooks a garden - perfect for our little one to play in! 
Our previous home had a very open, squarish layout. We appreciate that this new place of ours has a hallway that separates the bedrooms from the social spaces.
