1 Year Later… The Bomb Shelter Is FULL 😅

“Kitchen rack… but make it bomb shelter edition.” This rack was actually meant to be a microwave stand. But storage is storage — and space is precious. Instead of letting vertical space go to waste, I repurposed this as a tiered platform inside my bomb shelter. 💡 Homeowner tip: • Always think vertically. • If your shelves are tall but your items are short, you’re wasting half the space. 
This rack can be extended horizontally — perfect for customizing based on shelf depth. Why this matters: • Bomb shelter shelves are deep • Small items get lost behind • You can’t stack directly (unstable) This creates a mini second level within the shelf. 💡 Tip: Look for: > Adjustable racks > Slim legs > Lightweight but sturdy material You don’t need “storage made for bomb shelter.” You need “creative thinking.” 
This rack even came with little hooks ( actually meant for kitchen tools ). In bomb shelter use? Perfect for: • Resuable bags • small tools • Lightweight hanging items Tips: Don't ignore small add-ons. Hooks save side space and prevent clutter piling. 
Not going to lie. Assembly took some patience. Simple metal frame + screws + rods. But once fixed properly, it’s stable. 💡 Tip for homeowners: Tighten screws fully only after aligning all sides first. If not, the frame may tilt slightly. But it is simple to set up. 
All parts came compactly packed. Nothing fancy — but functional. This kind of affordable rack doesn’t need to look premium. It needs to work hard. And at under $20 each? Worth experimenting.
