Hello everyone! This is our second season of being an ambassador and we are kicking off the season with a 1 year Glow-up. One year on from our first refresh of our home, we made a few changes at home to better reflect our needs without compromising on the looks. We changed out the umbrella holder with one that's able to organize the multiple balls we have at home. The biggest change in our living room is the curtains which are a much lighter shade than before and that really helped to brighten up the whole space. Shifting the rattan storage box which stores the multiple bags we own open up the entryway. Adding a standing fan in the study corridor makes us feel better about keeping the area cool without resorting to switching on the air con. The Mistral fan fits in perfectly with our rustic theme. Decluttering the display area enables us to enjoy those on display more because of the decreased mental load. We recently repainted the house and while the essence of the room remains the same, the photo frames have been removed from the wall. Shifting the rainbow painting from the entryway gives a pop of colours to this space. We are still loving the Ikea stool which we double up as a bedside table here. Adding the mini aloe as well as the moss balls is the latest attempt to ensure that there are plants in every room at home. I might be having a plant addiction. Adding mini mirrors is giving a Minecraft vibe which helps me to feel young. And that concludes our 1 year Glow-up. Follow us as we continue to share about the reality of life with 2 kids at home while keeping our home reasonably presentable and cosy.
