Hello again, and welcome to @_nullhaus’s virtual home tour! Our home is a 6-year-old, 4-room resale flat located in Punggol, which we purchased during the COVID outbreak. The total renovation and electrical costs for our 4-room BTO were around $38k, excluding furnishings and appliances. Back then, we weren’t overly adventurous with our reno plans, opting to keep everything minimal and budget-friendly. 
Here’s a look at our floorplan. The bulk of our renovation budget went into transforming the kitchen and bathrooms. We removed the wall at the kitchen entrance to create a more open space, which meant we had to retile the flooring in that area. Looking back, we realize we could have splurged a little more on the floor tiles for a more cohesive look throughout the home. 
Our entryway features an L-shaped shoe cabinet that provides ample storage for all our shoes. The tabletop also showcases our little trinkets and POPMART figurines, serving as a subtle distraction for anyone who might glance inside when the door is open.

Here’s our common bathroom in all its glory. Due to space constraints, we decided against boxing up the shower area, as it would have made it feel cramped. Instead, we opted for a single glass panel to protect the sink cabinetry and keep splashes contained to one side. However, we did make a mistake by choosing different colored sinkware—definitely something to avoid if you’re aiming for a cohesive look! 
Instead of knocking down the second room to combine it with the master bedroom, we decided to keep it as is and convert it into a walk-in wardrobe room. Our main consideration was to minimize hacking and allow both rooms to cool down more efficiently within their own enclosed spaces. 
By moving our wardrobe to the second room, we’ve freed up our master bedroom, turning it into a dedicated space for rest and relaxation. Opting for loose furniture over built-ins also keeps the layout flexible, giving us the freedom to rearrange the room as our needs or mood change. Lately, we’ve been considering adding a projector to this space—does anyone have any recommendations?
