This is what our guest bathroom vanity area looks like - it’s pretty simple, with a sink, a wall niche and an inbuilt vanity that our ID did for us (because we really wanted the sintered stone top 😂)
We mostly use the master bathroom at home to minimise washing another toilet cos we’re lazy 😛 so this bathroom mainly serves guests and is used for us to wash stuff like buckets and aircon filters
The mirror, sink and tap were bought separately from Shopee!
We’ve kept the countertop simple with just hand soap and a diffuser, while the niche is used to store some extra laundry detergent for items we want to hand wash in the sink
Fun fact - the glass tray/plate thingy that holds the hand soap is actually part of a toilet paper holder from Taobao that fell apart 🤣 we salvaged the glass part because it wasn’t damaged! Plus it’s Duck’s favourite reeded glass lol
The cabinet below the sink contains a lot of extra supplies - mainly additional scents and fragrance items for our home. We also have the remaining bottles of the diffuser liquid (is it called essential oil?) stored here for easy refills!
We kept the open bottles in an acrylic tray in case there are any drips and spills - it’s actually an old makeup and accessories tray that got reused :)
And ofc we also have our slurpy bear diffuser to keep the posture at bay
The other side of the cabinet contains our… extensive supply of disposable toiletries accumulated over the course of our travels 🤣 we bring these along when we’re going for stay overs at the in-laws or travelling to hotels that don’t provide these.
Our guests who stay over in our house are also welcome to use these as well! It’s why we kept them in the guest bathroom - they can pick and choose whatever they need to use without having to ask us
We also use a lot of recycled paper bags (just cut off the top section so they become like little boxes) to store these supplies in the drawer - they are literally free because we have the typical Asian problem of having too many paper bags at home 🤣
We change them out if any of them get damaged - it’s a much more flexible and cost effective solution for these less used items, as compared to buying new custom containers
And that’s it for our guest bathroom cabinet! Here’s how it looks like in totality :)
I think the main mantra we had for this cabinet was that it had to be functional, but as it doesn’t contain any important daily necessities, we chose to reuse a lot of random storage items from our previous homes -didn’t spend any money on this whole setup at all.
