Hi there! Sharing some of my kitchen favs 🤗🤗
First up, this is our kettle! Yes not a water dispenser in this era. Embrace tradition, reject modernity lol.
As much as we love drinking ice cold water, I knew from the get go I wouldn’t want a water dispenser coz it’s so high maintenance (changing filters and all) + I wouldn’t be able to see the grime/mold inside the dispenser. The sleek ones like Wells are so expensive and dispense so slowly, the cheaper ones are so bulky.
This is one of the first few items I bought! Even before we moved in. I’ve always wanted a vintage looking kettle, and this one is perfect for its beautifulllll design and it’s electric! Boils in just a few mins too
There’ll be some water spots over time but it’s really easy to clean. We got this from Bodum’s online store during a discount so it was quite a good deal imo. The design reminds me slightly of Alessi’s kettle too
Probably one of my best Carousell deals ever, besides my dining table.
Look at this pretty shade of coral pink!!!!!!! Snagged this kitchenaid for $300+ on Carousell, in such a rare colour!
It was between red or this. So glad I picked pink over red. Statement piece fr, esp for someone who bakes quite a fair bit.
Dream mixer since I was a teenager. I know it doesn’t compare up to the Kenwood Professional series I was previously using, but I guess aesthetics (and price) won this time.
Lo and behold, the most expensive piece of our kitchen. Our La Germania/Bertazzoni cooker hob.
This was a non-negotiable in my kitchen wishlist. I’ve always cooked with gas my whole life, induction was just a no-no for me coz I need to see the fire LOL. Altho the clean up is rly quite a bitch for this, we just deep clean it once a week or after heavy cooking.
In Pairing the hood with Bertazzoni would have been too expensive, so I opted for another brand (Valenti) which was half the price and double the suction strength!!!!
We also got our cooker via a distributor so it’s a display piece (thecoolingspecialist on Carousell) and at $2.5k instead of the usual $3k+
Honestly pricey still but I just love the look of it 🥹🥹🥹
