This is our Common Bedroom 3 based on the floor plan. 🏡
We decided this would be the perfect room for our boys to share – a cozy space just for them! 👦👦
To keep things organized, we added a built-in wardrobe and also left extra space to store their bulky toys neatly tucked away, freeing up the living area for a cleaner, more open feel. ✨
We added the reversible KURA kids bed from IKEA to our boys’ room! 🛏️
For now, we’ve set it up with the bed at the top, and the space below is being put to creative use – it’s currently their very own garage for all the “cars” they love to zoom around in. 🚗🚙
What we love about this bed is its flexibility – in the future, we can easily convert the lower space into another sleeping area, perfect for two kids to share the room comfortably.
We also added some furniture repurposed from our old home to the boys’ room – making it both functional and familiar. 🏡✨
The chest of drawers from IKEA is perfect for neatly storing their clothes, bedsheets, and all the little essentials.
And the recliner chair, originally bought for mummy’s feeding sessions with the little one, has now found a second life – it’s the perfect cozy spot to sit back, watch the kids play, or read them a bedtime story. 📚💛
At the end of the day, we’ll admit we’re still guilty of co-sleeping – and our older one occasionally ends up snoozing here. 😅
That said, this room gives them a sense of their own space, and they’re perfectly comfortable pulling their rides out of here to play in the living area. 🚗
Our main goal was to keep the space flexible for future changes, while ensuring there’s enough storage with the built-in wardrobe to keep things neat and organized.
It’s a simple setup now, but it works perfectly for our family’s needs today – and can easily grow with the boys in the years to come. ✨
