Service Yard Hack: Extending Our Kitchen & Creating a Spacious Feel

Welcome to our kitchen! We hacked the service yard to create this extended, sleek look. Fun fact: we even had to get a professional engineer to approve the beam hacking for safety.
Here's another view of our transformed kitchen. With the extra space, the kitchen feels so much longer and gives off a more luxe and spacious vibe!
With the cabinet closed, everything looks minimalist and luxe. You’d almost forget this used to be a service yard!
We hid our kitchen pipes with custom carpentry that blends perfectly with the countertop. This open cabinet not only looks sleek but also serves as a handy spot for storing detergent, towels, and dishwashing liquid.
Our gas heater keeps the bathroom minimalist without the need for a bulky water tank. We also made this space super functional with laundry bags for both of us, right on top of the washing machine.
