Doing a review of 3 biggest standalone appliances in our kitchen! Which is the best value for money and which is most underutilized. Because space is so precious, it's important to only keep the most used appliances on the counter top to keep the clutter at bay.
The Instant Pot is one of the oldest appliances I own in the kitchen (I think it's about 10 years old). It is a life saver when it comes to preparing meals with minimum effort. Basically throw the ingredients in, switch it on and food will be ready in under 1 hour for simple soup like ABC soup.

This Tefal rice cooker is one of the most basic models around. But so versatile! Cooks jasmine rice, brown rice and even congee well! For a family of 4 who seldom cook when we host, this size is just nice for us.

The Hurom slow juicer is a want instead of a need. The plan is to juice all the cut fruits that my dad regularly brings over but the thought of washing the multiple parts puts me off most of the time. It's not difficult to wash but has a substantial weight to it. Plus I don't like to wash in a sink full of oily dishes so I need to wait till the sink is cleared at the end of the day.
