Welcome to our bedroom!
If you have read our previous post, you would know what we have swapped the previous MBR and one of the bedrooms around.
We knew from the start we do not need a big space for our MBR as it is a space for us to sleep and relax.
Our bedframe is from Hipvan and we love how neutral and minimalist it looks!
We love our moon-looking bedroom lights as it gives a modern yet cosy ambience at night.
Our wardrobe is the only built-in in the bedroom!
I (the wife) wanted the MBR to be more bright and cosy so we elected for a cream limewash look laminate, really love how it turns out!
Our ids suggested the curved ends, we felt that it was pricey a first but decided to top up more for it eventually as we felt that it will make the whole area more cosy and soft looking, and also so that we wonβt hurt ourselves accidentally if we need to use the toilet in the middle of the night π
Loved how the handles are curved as well and also coincidentally complementing with the curves of the watch cove lighting!
No surprise here we chose black laminates for our door, and because the toilet used to be the guest toilet outside (due to us swapping the rooms), we have to go with sliding door instead of hinge door due to space constrains. After installing it, surprisingly we love it more than the traditional door design! Feels like we are in a hotel π
We also customised our door to fit a pet flap underneath so that our dog can go in and out as and when he wants to (:
This area was meant to be a pantry area which was why there is a spot light right outside our toilet door. We are still in a dilemma of whether to build the pantry area with carpentry or buying off the shelf instead. What do you all think?
