Welcome to our home journey! We've previously stayed at our first home for 5 years before reaching MOP, and moved to our second home - where we've lived for about 4 months now!
Meet Jaewen:
Grew up in a low-income family as a kid.
Vowed to work hard to be financially stable & free.
Always thought the first home was gonna be her forever home.
Started working at the age of 19.
Studied uni part time, and pay for uni fees without study loan, for the fear of interest rates.
Did a career switch after working for 5 years.
Found her place in tech sales role.
Meet Guacamole:
Grew up with immigrant parents, who became his role models, as they built their life up from scratch in a foreign country.
Took over his dad's business with tough training.
Worked long hours, sleepless nights and brought the business to a new level.
Jaewen + Guacamole
Got married at the age of 26 and 27.
Thought they'd go for the BTO/SOB route for their first home.
But no luck after trying for more than a year with about 10 tries.
Finally gave up and found their first resale HDB right before COVID hits.
With Jaewen's financial stability mindset, and Guac's drive and ambition - they worked hard to reach their condo dreams.
Fast forward 5 years later:
They reviewed their finances & researched on current property's market.
Achieved their dream & got their resale condo.
Welcomed baby dumpling in the same year.
Why a Condo for home?
Getting a condo isn't plainly just for the luxury.
It's their way of building a financially resilient & thriving future for baby dumpling.
Of course, there are many ways to build wealth.
They do diversify into other investment instruments too.
Today's home:
Having a baby also means lifestyle is constantly evolving.
This fits Jaewen & Guac very well because it means they get to change up their decor every now and then, dopamine decor with cafe vibes create the perfect #romanticizemylife vibes.
