Have you seen those advertisement on social media featuring those high tech atas sink that have many functions? Yup, we bought and installed that. Here’s our review on it and whether you should get one!
The sink features a pull out faucet, which is pretty common for most kitchen sinks nowadays. You’re able to pull it out and spray around the sink, just like any other kitchen sink faucets available in the market nowadays.
The knob can be twisted in 2 directions, which activates different parts of the sink.
When turned clockwise, it can be used to rinse fruits and vegetables.
When turned counter clockwise, it would activate the faucet. The water stream can be adjusted as well.
The most special feature of this sink probably is the cup rinser. Some may argue that the cup rinser is not particularly useful and dirt accumulates easily over time. Honestly, this is somewhat true, but you should clean your sink at least once a month. This can be easily done by applying some cif and scrubbing. If you choose not to clean your sink, water stains will definitely build up, regardless which part of the sink it is.
We have found the cup rinser to be pretty useful actually, as we were able to wash not only cups, but bowls and teapots as well 🤣
Last but not least, we have a kitchen stand where we place our hand wash, dish wash, some sponges and brush.
Our kitchen stand is from 3COINS. We bought it on our trip to Osaka recently :)
The clover soft dish wash is actually 3 in 1, can be used to wash dishes, fruits and veggies! Wasn’t able to tag the correct clover soft dish wash somehow 🤣 I tried googling it as well, but seems like the formulation for the dish soap has been upgraded. Overall we find it pretty good, although it does not really lather up a lot (not very soapy).
So… should you buy this sink? We have been using this sink for slightly more than a year. We love the functionality of the sink and most importantly, the size of the sink! Large sinks seems pretty rare in HDB kitchen nowadays. It’s nice to be able to put my entire pot in the sink and still have space for all the cutleries that was used after dining. Price wise, not the cheapest but definitely still affordable.
Should you choose to buy this sink, it will come with other accessories that we didn’t show in this post. We will list it down below:
Kitchen Sink x1,
Sink Pull-Out Mixer x1,
Solid Cutting Board x1,
Fruit Basket x1,
