Kitchen Know How: How we organised our Odd Kitchen Layout

Hi all! Welcome to the heart of our home, our kitchen! While the layout was an oddly-shaped L layout, we took advantage of it to have a 'dry' and 'wet' kitchen area 
On the end of the kitchen closer to the main door and entryway we have our cooking and cleaning area. We also carved out a little breakfast bar for quick meals 
Here we built up an appliance cabinet that allowed us to store our smaller appliances at a usable height but also hide it away to keep the visual clutter at bay 
The slide and hide doors tuck neatly into the sides so it does not hinder movement in the kitchen 
An unassuming, but heavily used part of our kitchen is this rail we got from ikea to hang our rags or utensils to dry after washing 
We also had some open shelves install to display items that were aesthetically pleasing but also used regularly
