Last in the before and after series is the kitchen! 
Originally, the kitchen was a closed-off space. When you enter the house, you'll see the kitchen wall right smack in the middle, with the entrance on the left, and the dining room on the right. 
The kitchen felt dark and small when it was closed off. 
Opening up the space creates a better flow between the kitchen and dining room. 
We've transformed this corner into our appliance area, where we store our most frequently used appliances. 
The stove and sink was repositioned to face the living room, and as a bonus, we can now watch TV while cooking! 
We removed the grilles and window decals to achieve a cleaner, more minimalist look.
