A Quick Tour of Our "Home" — Before Renovations Began!

Hello everyone! Doing a interesting take on "housetour"to showcase our pre-renovated home! 
We heavily contemplated to retained this half wall and glass but ultimately decided to do away with it to open up our entry way. 
All the built-ins that has got to go~ 
We really dislike the wood tiles and the very cramp shower area.. it's giving claustrophobic. 
While we were limited by the existing layout, we found certain elements, like the shower curb and the metal bar overhead, made the space feel even more claustrophobic. We made a point to eliminate those features to create a more open and seamless look 
The previous owner did a raised platform for their bed, that was also.. hacked away~ 
The service yard is pretty much the only part we kept exactly as it was, though we did spruce things up with our own styling bits!
