Hello! We bought a 4-room resale flat and transformed it from a seemingly gloomy house into a brighter abode 😎 Here are some of the things we did: 1. White paint — Repainted the walls and ceilings in white, so that light can reflect and make our living space look brighter. 2. Light-coloured floor tiles — Chose light-coloured floor tiles, which reflect light and help to brighten up the space. 
3. Clear windows without grilles — Decided to do away with window grilles so as to allow maximum amount of light to pass through the clear windows. It makes cleaning a lot easier as well (say goodbye to dust on window grilles 👋🏻)! 
4. Translucent roller blinds — Opted for translucent roller blinds as they allow light to filter through, while still providing privacy. 
5. Placement of mirror — Positioned a large mirror on the wall opposite our living room windows to reflect inbound sunlight around the room, amplifying natural lighting and creating a bright atmosphere.
